- Is this real money or gambling?
- No. The Player Stock Market is a free-play simulator. Credits and shares have no cash value, no redemption value, and no connection to real securities or wagering. It is a learning and strategy tool only.
- How do I actually gain credits?
- The only edge is a player beating their projection: dividends pay on actual points while you paid a price set by projected points, so the net is pure surprise. You can also buy a share below fair value and sell it higher along the live market curve.
- What do the position multipliers mean?
- Fantasy points are scaled by a position multiplier (QB 8, RB 12, WR 11, TE 14) that mirrors positional scarcity. A scarce position converts the same points into a higher effective value, so it prices higher — the same reason those positions cost more in real drafts.
- Does buying and selling move the price?
- Yes. Trades move the live price along a constant-product market curve (buys push it up, sells push it down), and each simulated week nudges the price back toward the player’s fair value — so short-term moves mean-revert.
