- How much is a first-round rookie pick worth?
- It depends on where in the round and your format. Early firsts carry the most value because they access the top of the rookie class; the chart prices each pick slot so you can compare an early, mid, or late first against players and future picks.
- Why are future picks worth less than current picks?
- Future picks are discounted for uncertainty — you do not yet know the class strength or where the pick will land. The chart applies that discount so a 2026 first trades below an equivalent 2025 first.
